The motorcyclist involved in the collision was a soldier stationed at Fort Huachuca, and details of the crash were not immediately available. This Sierra Vista motorcycle crash is one of more than 2,730 that are expected to occur this year throughout the state of Arizona, according to reports from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). More than 190 collisions occur in Sahuarita each year, and every motorcycle accident contributes to the high rate of injury. In 2010, there were 73 reported injuries in car crashes within the city limits and two deaths. These injuries and deaths occurred in just 53 accidents.
