As Arizona motorcycle accident lawyers, we were very sorry to hear about another fatal Arizona accident on the interstate. ABC15 has reported that last Wednesday afternoon, along the southbound lanes of interstate I-17, a motorcyclist was killed due to an accident. The driver of the motorcycle was moving from the HOV lane to the first lane of traffic when all of a sudden the rider last control of his bike, which caused the accident behind him, according to DPS. Of course, there may be other reasons for why the motorcycle rider changed lanes; for instance, maybe he was cut off and the accident was not his fault.
After losing control of his bike, he was then run over by a car, to which he was then trapped under the car. He was then pronounced dead on the scene even though he was wearing a helmet. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) stated that there were a lot of vehicles that were involved, but that no one else was hurt.
We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim.
